Connecting modular I/Os to PROFINET
Phoenix Contact’s new I/O bus couplers for PROFINET
with IP20 protection act as the link between the I/O level and Ethernet.
They can be used to connect up to 62 or 8 function units, such as
digital and analog inputs/outputs and counters, to the network.
IL PN BK DI8 DO4 2TX-PAC and ST PN 24 BK 2TX bus couplers provide
the familiar IP20 I/O functionality in process data and PCP mode
for up to 8 devices.
Features:
- Fast startup and simple diagnostics thanks to Ethernet or I/O-specific
LEDs
- Full scope of functions of the PROFINET stack 2.2
- Easy conversion of LLDP
- Easy conversion of PDev
- Easy conversion of ASR
- Easy conversion of I&M
- Easy conversion of the dynamic functionality for which Profibus
is well-known
The bus couplers are programmed using Phoenix Contact’s
PC WORX automation software according to IEC 61131. I/O data and
diagnostic information are linked directly via the variable names
just as for fieldbus integration.
