Managed MCS switches are now even easier to configure

The "FL Switch MCS" managed switches are a good choice for the economical set-up of managed Ethernet or Profinet networks.

The compact devices, which are available with 16 twisted pair ports as well as with 14 twisted pair ports and two glass fiber ports, used as I/O devices, support all protocols and functions recommended for Profinet applications, such as priority queues, port security, as well as LLDP and PDev for topology recognition.

Powerful full wire speed switching fabric provides high data throughput and an excellent time response, while SNMP makes extensive network diagnostics possible.

Fieldline Master module for IO Link supports seamless communication down to the lowest field level

Via the new standard IO-Link, seamless communication from the control system to the lowest field level is possible. As part of a point-to-point connection between the IO-Link port and the sensor or actuator, service data can be exchanged at the same time as process data.

Data is transmitted by means of 24 V pulse modulation. Gateway and communication DTMs ensure integrated device parameterization up to the sensor/actuator level.
