Latest Innovations in the PC 5 plug connector range

The 6 mm² PC 5 plug connector was launched in 2005. In 2006 the range was extended by the inverted versions IPC 5 as well as the SPC 5 push-in spring force connector. This year some additional innovations make the range even more attractive:

M12 Device Plugs with Speedcon Fast Connection Technology in Three Different Versions

Phoenix Contact offers a wide range of M12 device plugs with Speedcon fast connection technology. The product range consists of 4, 5, and 8-position versions.

For fieldbus specifications, the contact carriers are available in B and D-encoded version. Furthermore, there are plugs and sockets for front and rear mounting to ensure connection on the device side. There is further flexibility for PCB mounting: the panel feed-throughs are available with punched on halogen-free single cores or with dip solder contacts.

The flush-type female connectors with Through Hole Reflow are delivered in a stackable, machine-capable tray packaging of 60 pieces. The wired components can be processed in pick & place mounting process. The M12 Speedcon connections, which are mounted to the front plate from the inside of the device, are included in the scope of delivery. When not plugged in, all products fulfill the requirements of protection type IP67.

Serial data transmission via Bluetooth

PSI-WL Bluetooth(TM) converter for remote diagnostics, remote monitoring, remote programming, alarm signaling, etc.

The new Bluetooth converters make complex data connections with mobile devices using flexible conduits, sliprings or other cable solutions a thing of the past.
