| CHECKMASTER – Firmware and software update A new firmware update is available for the CHECKMASTER arrester test device in the form of Version 3.18. In this new version, minor errors have been removed and the testing of surge arresters has been optimized with dark storage effects. The following products have been added to the new firmware and can now also be tested with CHECKMASTER.
Version 2.0 of the CHECKMASTER update tool now offers Microsoft Windows Vista users the option of updating the test device with the newest firmware.
